Beautiful landscapes, though the story is just a mix of FMA, Heidi, Evangelion, Zelda and a looks-like-gantz black ball.
#wanna know what gets me the most?#the fact that for most of his life#Bolin has been the innocent one#HE wasn’t the one who saw his parents killed#HE wasn’t the one who had to look after his little baby brother#HE wasn’t the one who was old enough to understand how scary the world is when he and Mako were first orphaned#no#so in reality#this is probably one of the first times in his life he’s been so alone and frightened#and you can tell that he’s already beginning to see that the world isn’t all sunshine and rainbows#Bryke has something BIG planned for this character#and I’m loving itThese tags are so accurate because Bolin’s character arc is going to be discovering that the world really isn’t sunshine and rainbows. And it hurts to see him like this because I just want to hug him so much in this screenshot and take the bad things away. However, I guess he really does have to learn this lesson and be able to stand more on his own since he’s always had someone to depend on. I look forward to seeing this development so much. It’s going to be truly amazing I’m sure. <33333
Glad other people are calling it too. Bolin isn’t here just for comic relief.

Film: Pumzi is a Kenyan science fiction short film written and directed by Wanuri Kahiu. It was screened at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival as part of its New African Cinema program.
Pumzi, imagines a dystopian future 35 years after water wars have torn the world apart. East African survivors of the ecological devastation remain locked away in contained communities, but a young woman in possession of a germinating seed struggles against the governing council to bring the plant to Earth’s ruined surface.
Oh god I need to watch this. I need some non-white dominated scifi like plants need chlorophyll
Oooh, this looks pretty fucking awesome. Also, scifi as a genre especially needs to get the fuck over it’s whitewashing. If it’s set in a utopian (or dystopian) future with a unified planetary society (or even if not), why the fuck is 80% of the cast white and everyone is culturally Anglo except for like the token POC and token ‘ethnickyish’ white people.
So, this looks awesome.
OMGF I need to see this. I need to see this right now.
.reminiscing.

it just occured to me hardcore zutarians first thoughts will probably be like “now that aang’s dead they can bang!”

That’s some comfort.
Anyway, awww. I like to think they still argue all the time too.
